Code of Conduct

At our club, we believe in creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for everyone—people and pups alike. To ensure our community continues to thrive, we ask that all members, participants, and visitors abide by the following Code of Conduct:
1. Respect and Kindness

Treat all members, volunteers and visitors with courtesy and respect at all times.

Foster a positive, supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

Engage in friendly and constructive communication—verbal or written.
2. Zero Tolerance Policy - We have a zero-tolerance policy for the following behaviours:

Bullying, intimidation, or harassment of any kind.

Disrespectful or aggressive language, including shouting, insults, or derogatory remarks.

Mistreatment of volunteers—our volunteers generously give their time and energy to support the club and deserve respect and appreciation at all times.

Discrimination including but not limited to: racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, ageism, or any other form of bigotry.

Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal from club activities, suspension, or permanent expulsion from the club.
3. Animal Welfare

Always treat all dogs with compassion and care.

Follow club guidelines regarding leash use, safety protocols, and responsible dog ownership.

Clean up after your dog and maintain control of your dog at all times.
4. Cooperation and Teamwork

Follow directions and guidelines provided by club organizers and volunteers.

Offer help when you can and be patient with others, especially during busy times such as set up and pack away for training sessions.

When possible, make yourself available to assist at Competitions run by our club.

Recognize that our volunteers are here to help but are not obligated to tolerate rude or hostile behaviour.
5. Dispute Resolution

If you have concerns or conflicts, raise them respectfully with a committee member or designated club contact.

Avoid gossip or public confrontations; we aim to handle all issues constructively and privately.
