Sometimes members have friends and/or relatives who are interested in starting their puppies in Agility, but do not know the age puppies can commence:
For PreAgility they can start at
5 months:
The concern is that the puppies are not fully covered by their vaccination until they are 5 months, they may however come for socialization with a waiver (this puts the onus back onto the owner-should the puppies become unwell).
For Beginners: they can start at
12 months:
The concern is that the puppies bones have not properly formed, and they could incur skeletal damage if this level of agility is commenced earlier.
