Hi Everyone,
May is here, Jane has asked for a report from me, and all I can think of is the Cross Country, the April comp. at PADS and if we will be able to hold our next competition at our promised land, Elimbah. I am pretty sure we will be installed into our new grounds by the end of next month. Pretty sure. I had an impromptu meeting with the local councillor, Adrian Raedel last week and he was able to tell me almost nothing and give me absolutely no better assurances than we already have. So we just wait. On a slightly more progressive note, the fellow who is in charge of shifting the containers sent me an email.
Luckily the Cross Country venue is a sure thing. (Unless it rains buckets between now and August. ) All the information including entry forms, fees and game rules will be out very shortly. Just make sure you put the dates 14th 15th August into your diaries. Also, we are having a cross country meeting at my place on the 5th June and you are welcome to attend.
Just contact me to find out the time. 54961411.
Don’t forget about our July ADAA competition on the 24th. If you would like to compete, make sure you are a member of the Agility Dog Association of Australia. All of that sort of information can be found at www.adaa.com.au
Thanks to the instructors who have been stepping up lately when the rostered people haven’t been able to make it. And with confidence and aplomb. We have lost a couple of instructors but gained some too. Ella, Mariji and Maja are on the books. (and the roster.) Thanks to them and to all our instructors. Can’t have training without you. It is also very gratifying to see the intermediate dogs gaining confidence and skills, along with their people. We have had some very successful classes recently. On a personal note, I really like being instructed, so thanks very much.
Stay cheerful Suncoast Fundogs and look forward to our moving up the road. At least look forward to some more enthusiastic and cluedup instruction on Tuesday nights. See you there, Lyndal
