Pre Agility 1

In this five week course you will be taught how to motivate your dog and encourage him to give his attention to you. Walk on a loose lead and begin the basics of a sit stay and recall using a crate or a mat. Your dog will be introduced to a variety of equipment such as a ladder, wobble board, jump humps, a low table and a tunnel. Check out the calendar to find out when our next Pre Agility one enrolment and when the next class starts. The course will cost $40 for five weeks which includes a $10 casual membership fee. Please go to our "How to Join" link via Training if you are interested. Please note all dogs must be fully vaccinated before attending any Suncoast Fundogs lesson.

Pre Agility 2

The Pre-Agility two class will take the foundations learnt in Pre Agility 1 and develop them further.  You must have completed Pre-Agility 1 before you commence this course.  Check out the calendar to find out when it starts.  This three week course costs $30 plus your membership will need to be fully paid - $15 for singles and $20 for families.

Beginners

Pre Agility 1 and 2 need to be completed before booking into this course.  This 7 week course costs $50.  By the end of this seven week agility course we aim for your dog to complete the following: 
  • 12 weave poles,
  • a small sequence of hurdles at your dog's appropriate height,
  • tunnels (cloth and collapsible),
  • contact equipment (A-frame, dog walk and see saw),
  • tyre (at appropriate height) and
  • your dog should be reliable off lead.







Please Note: Dogs must be 12 months of age or older to complete this course.

Intermediate

After successfully completing the Pre Agilty and Beginners Agility course you are welcome and encouraged to continue your dog's agility training in our Intermediate Classes. These classes commence from 7:00 to 8 pm on Tuesday nights with members arriving at 6:30 pm to set up the equipment. This involves more training, use of all equipment, and more complex sequences. There is no additional costs beside the weekly fee of $6, which pays for the use of the facilities and lights.

Cost

Membership (valid until July of the next year) - it is compulsory for each trainer to have a current membership. 
  • Casual membership - $10 (available with the Pre Agility 1 Course only) 
  • Single - $25
  • Family - $30.00
  • Junior $20.00 (over 10 and under 18 )
  • Concessional $20.00
Pre Agility 1 (Dogs must be fully vaccinated)

Pre Agility 2 (Pre - Agility 1is a pre requisite for this course)

  • $30
for each course
Beginners (Pre Agility 2 is a pre requisite for this course.  Dogs must be 12 months or older).
